The Harry Potter franchise is continuing like never before with the upcoming release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, a sequel set during the times before Harry Potter was even born and the wizarding world we know and love even existed. Even though the film features a lot of characters who never appeared in Harry’s world, there are some secret connections the set is trying to keep underwraps. Thanks to extended trailers and some cast interviews, we now have confirmation of a huge theory that connects the movie to the one who shall not be named: Voldemort. While we don’t expect to see a young Voldemort in the film at all, we could get a glimpse of his powerful snake creature, Nagini. Nagini wasn’t always a snake as she was once in human form and Fantastic Beasts 2 will showcase her like never before.
The actress Claudia Kim is playing a character who was previously unnamed, but is now confirmed to be the role of Nagini. Will we get to her transform into a snake on-screen? Well, if her circus act is anything as impressive as it sounds, then we definitely will! Fans have already been speculating for months about the character’s name and having this final confirmation will make a huge difference on the way the story plays on screen. We know the snake’s fate in Harry Potter, but how will she transform into the evil creature and will she make contact with Lord Voldemort?! Only time will tell, but we’re certainly excited to see how the character is showcased in the November release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
