DC has dipped into the Teen Titans pool numerous times over the years and the latest version looks to be one of the first ever live-action grouping of the Teen Titans heroes. Just like the comic book group, Robin leads the fray this time around, showcasing a much different side than fans are used to. Especially when compared to other versions of Robin like from Batman and Robin or the classic 1960’s Batman series, the Titans Robin looks to be very very different. One of the main things this Robin is known for is looking into the darkness.
The dark truth of the DC Titans show is Robin will be the darkest representation of the hero ever. He handles his anger in all the wrong ways and has already showcased some of the dark corners of the DC Universe he heads down. Not only does this version of the hero curse, but he is extremely violent and may not head towards Batman’s same code of no kills. Not only does Dick Grayson have a complicated history and family trauma, but he must also deal with Batman’s new sidekick in the form of Jason Todd. Exactly how they will butt heads will be interesting to see, along with a number of clues about how the character will move forward now that Batman has a new Robin. Watch to learn about the dark truth about the Titans show long before the series is set to go to air. See how the dark characters will evolve and how the MA-rated show will show a whole different side of the DCEU.
