Natasha Ednan-Laperouse’s death has highlighted both the number of people with allergies and the difficult choices they make every day – often with confusing or inadequate labelling and advice.

The Environment Secretary Michael Gove says he is reviewing the laws so people with allergies can trust the food they eat.
