Former Brexit secretary Dominic Raab tells Sophy Ridge a defeat on the divorce deal is not inevitable – if the EU can get over its “total intransigence” and agree to replace the backstop, which it is refusing to do.
He also said that if May makes no breakthrough, she should “keep the promise that no-deal is better than a bad deal”.
