The next phase has begun for Felix Baumgartner’s record-breaking stratospheric jump. THIS SUMMER the Austrian extreme athlete Baumgartner will put on his space suit and jump from the edge of space in an attempt to break the speed of sound and an assortment of world records. Baumgartner has not only just completed a series of high-altitude test jumps but has in general intensified his physical, psychological and technical training under the direction of Dr. Andy Walshe, the mission’s high performance director.
