Peacemaker’s first season has finally wrapped with some explosive set up for the future so let’s get into it. In this video we’re going over the ending, what it could potentially mean for the broader DCEU and what could happen in the recently confirmed season 2. Because Peacemaker doesn’t have a lot to draw from, which is probably one reason why James Gunn came up with the whole Butterfly thing to give Peacemaker a threat that can be totally his own, most likely season 2 will have even more original character’s and plotlines. With the rumors of the DCEU getting rebooted through all the time travel shenanigans of the Flash movie, Peacemaker might not even be in the same universe next time we see him so there’s a lot of possibilities for potential team ups and crossovers if that’s the direction they want to go in.
Peacemaker’s really made a name for himself in just a few short months since The Suicide Squad’s release so it’ll be exciting to see if he can keep up with his new found fame. Who knows, maybe he’ll even have to back up all of his Batman slander.
Peacemaker’s gotten a new comic this year and although only the first issue is out at the time of this video, there may be somethings incorporated into it like Peacemaker getting some psychiatric help since… ya know, the whole dad thing.
