MUNCHIES Guide to Wales: Making Welsh Sushi and Witnessing the Birth of a Sheep

Welsh seaside town Conwy is one of Europe’s most popular destinations for Japanese tourists. Charlet meets chef Hisae Driver to find out how she combines cockles, sewin, lamb, and seaweed with traditional Japanese ingredients to make Welsh sushi, a.k.a. “Wushi.”

Then it’s onto Snowdonia where Charlet meets the social media savvy “tweeting farmer” Gareth Wyn Jones. As it’s lambing season, she soon finds herself helping out with her very first sheep birth.
