Playing online games are fun and competitive, but when you come across a cheater, all the fun may quickly disappear. Thankfully, multiple video game companies have implemented ways to take cheaters out of the game and punish them in ways that go beyond the law.

Why deal with cheaters in a game, when Apex Legends has figured out a way to pool all the cheaters together and keep them out of our own games. What happens when you get caught using an Aimbot in Fortnite and have to completely change your YouTube channel after suffering a lifetime ban?! Twitch is an extremely part of the gaming community, and the viewers are more eagle-eyed than you realize. This includes the time they spotted one gamer cheating in CO-GO.

But not all cheaters are created equal. There’s some games that have accidentally gotten rid of the innocent victims as opposed to the cheaters. Red Dead Redemption 2’s online mode is filled with these instances and gamers have been frustrated as they try to recover their accounts. Grand Theft Auto Online offers a lot of fun ways to interact with other players, but you better hope that mods aren’t involved because Rockstar Games is not a fan, no matter how much we love them.

Join us at The Gamer as we break down all the cheaters and reveal all the ways cheaters have been caught AND punished for their actions. From PC gamers to Xbox One owners, many of the cheaters were deserving of the drastic actions and lifetime bans.
