If recent rumours are to be believed, Disney – who, of course, own Marvel Studios – could be looking to purchase Fox, which would potentially allow the characters from the likes of the X-Men and Fantastic Four movies to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe which, in turn, would allow the likes of Wolverine, Deadpool, Reed Richards, Susan Storm, Professor X, Magneto, Mystique, Doctor Doom, the Silver Surfer and Galactus to interact with the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Loki, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Captain Marvel, Rocket, Groot, Doctor Strange and Black Panther. How cool would that be?! The problem is, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is already nine years and seventeen movies deep, so smoothly integrating certain characters into the franchise (who should really have been introduced already if they exist there) could be difficult – particularly in the case of mutants. So how could it possibly happen? Well, this video is going to discuss just that. It could be instigated in either the MCU itself or in the X-Men franchise. It could be triggered by an item of power or by a powerful character. It might just happen via a portal linking the two universes. Regardless of how it happened, it would be awesome! The possibilities would be almost endless and some dream character interactions could happen in live action – both in terms of team-ups and indeed in terms of conflicts.
