Marvel Theory: Could Erik Selvig Be A Key Figure In Defeating Thanos?

Some clues from Thor: The Dark World might hold the key to defeating Thanos! Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6

This year’s awesome Avengers: Infinity War saw Thanos collecting all six Infinity Stones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then using them to erase half of all life in the universe by simply snapping his fingers.

In Avengers 4, the surviving heroes will undoubtedly be going all-out to undo what the purple-chinned Mad Titan did and put an end to the threat he poses to the MCU – but there’s a theory that the MVP of their efforts could be someone quite unexpected, rather than the more obvious candidates like Iron Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel or Thor.

In this video, we’ll be discussing the theory that none other than Stellan Skarsgård’s Erik Selvig will be a key figure in defeating the prune-chineed Thanos.

It’s based on Selvig’s chalkboard scene from 2013’s Thor: The Dark World, when he scribbled down what seemed like a load of nonsense!

What he actually wrote seemed to predict a bunch of events in the MCU – including Thanos’ snap – and indeed some potential ways to undo it.

We haven’t seen Selvig since 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron – and if he was to return and play a huge part in Avengers 4, we can’t see anyone complaining, given what a cool character he is.
