Lowrider Roll Models: Miguel Alatorre – Episode 2

In this episode of Lowrider Roll Models, we meet Miguel Alatorre–a veteran combat engineer having served 5 tours of duty in the U.S. Army and a member of Klique Car Club in San Diego. He shares how he came to be in possession of his 1959 Chevrolet Impala and his love for cruising the streets of San Diego en route to Chicano Park. Miguel also describes his harrowing experience on the battlefield, how lowrider culture helped him find himself and rekindle time lost with loved ones. These days, he’s channeling his efforts to serve his fellow servicemen by defining new ways for how they can engage with their local community via the local VFW. Miguel is a shining example of what it means to be a true Lowrider Roll Model.
