Live Like the Bourgeoisie!! – What To Watch Before You Die

Surreal and undefinable, The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie is the story of six upper-class people trapped in a dream-sequence-laden loop of trying, and failing, to have dinner together. Bizzarre though it is, you won’t regret a moment spent watching this movie. Subscribe – http://goo.gl/9AGRm

The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie is the work of director Luis Buñuel, a surrealist filmmaker whose work is difficult to describe, but absolutely must be experienced.

We’ve previously discussed Un Chein Andalou, also by Buñeul. Check it out here: http://youtu.be/BIKYF07Y4kA

His life and work spanned continents, and he had a style so unique, it was a genre unto itself. Which is why we’re including his sole Oscar-winning film as one of the movies to watch before you die.
