Leaked game footage may not be the complete game, but it gives us a whole lot to look forward to. The footage showcases how the game will play, including the detailed viewpoints of the game. Over the years, developers have accidentally released footage, employees have given away secrets, and WHOLE game storylines were revealed before there was even an official trailer release.

So how would you define a game leak? Well, the footage could be as simple as some cinematic storyboards — or perhaps characters designs. Maybe a demo was released to test out on specific consoles. All we know is that there are TWO different games involving Batman and Harley Quinn which have suffered from leak issues. The footage is a great way to build hype and get people excited about various features.

For example, leaked footage from a WB Harry Potter game completely changes everything and gets us all extremely excited for the expansion of the whole Harry Potter Universe. And that leak is just ONE of many. People always find ways to leak some footage online, including some crucial DLC footage for games like Super Mario Smash Bros. Ultimate. We’eve been waiting for a new Grand Theft Auto for years, but sometimes we also fall for some of the leaked footage that comes out. Does the leaked footage hold up and what does Rockstar Gamers actually say about it? We have all the answers! The leaked footage may be blurry, include super short clips, or barely have any info. Many gaming companies do not like to reveal their cards early, especially if graphics or tests are not complete yet.
