Labour leadership hopefuls clash in ‘frosty’ debate

The candidates vying to become Labour’s next leader clashed over their response to antisemitism in a Sky News debate.

Sir Keir Starmer told Lisa Nandy she was speaking “nonsense” when she said he and fellow shadow cabinet member Rebecca Long-Bailey had failed to speak out about the issue.

The party is voting for its new leader over the next month.
