Guys, look who it is! It’s none other than your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man; Stopping bank robberies and saving elderly ladies from muggers in Queens, and… um… in the case of Avengers: Infinity War, fighting off cosmic telekinetic space wizards who look like Squidward and going up against prune-chinned brutes with the powers of a God in outer space.

Anyway… Spider-Man undoubtedly possesses a lot of cool powers – he always has done – but is one of those powers the ability to sense death itself?

This theory suggest so and we’re here to convince you it’s true – and with good reason! Do not read on if you don’t want Infinity War spoilers!

The idea comes from the fact that Tom Holland’s character seemed to know he was about to die. The likes of Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Star-Lord, Groot, Bucky Barnes, Sam Wilson, Drax and Mantis all disappeared from existence without really knowing what was happening to them, but Spidey’s demise was different.

While Bucky and company started to feel weird prior to their deletion from existence, they didn’t realise what was happening until their body parts literally started turning to nothingness before their eyes.

Could Spidey’s death-sensing ability be linked to a supernatural item from the comic books known as the Web of life and Destiny? And could it entangle him a future MCU story involving Thanos and his love of death? This theory thinks so!
