Her Cooking Offers a Taste of India to People Far From Home | Short Film Showcase

Filmmaker Claire Molloy profiles one woman’s mission to connect people through food. Harpreet Sohal moved from India to the U.S. with her three children when she was 32 years old. She has since started a family business cooking traditional Desi food out of her kitchen in Queens. Her sister helps her prep, her daughter labels, and her husband delivers these delicious meals to people all over New York City looking for a taste of home.
