When Friends began airing on NBC, it was placed into the Thursday night timeslot and found its home there for all ten seasons. After Rachel makes a spectacular catch, she doesn’t reach the end zone and a fumbled ball results in a quick dash. As the final credits roll, Ross and Monica both cling to the ball, refusing to give up the win.
