First Drive: new Fisker Ocean review. Sub £40k electric SUV tested.

The new Fisker Ocean will start from under £36,000 in the UK. Which is not a lot of money, by modern standards, for a mid-size electric SUV.

Now, the one you see in these moving pictures, reviewed by Matt Saunders, will cost more than that – it’s the Extreme variant at £60,880. But still, this is a new range of cars that starts with what looks like a great value derivative.

The Fisker Ocean Extreme has two motors, with 556bhp and 543lb ft in total, can go from 0-62mph in 3.9sec and onto a 128mph top speed. It has a 106kWh usable battery, with a 440 miles WLTP combined range.
