Firecracker Jalapeño Poppers Recipe – How to Make Jalapeño Poppers

In this episode of “What’s Cooking?” Michael travels to Fort Worth, Texas where Allrecipes home cook, Temple, teaches us how to make firecracker jalapeño poppers!

We started with some fresh jalapeños, and sliced them right down the middle, leaving the stem on one side. It was as simple as leaving the seeds in one half and removing them on the other. Simple! Then, lathering each half with a generous dollop of cream cheese and some cajun seasoning, we finished them up by wrapping in thick slices of jalapeño bacon, holding them together with a toothpick, and threw them in the oven for 8-10 minutes each side.and a few of her friends cook up four unique Jalapeño Popper recipes! Temple’s Stuffed Jalapeño Firecrackers recipe delivers a crunchy bacon exterior, gooey, cheesy center, and a sharp bite of green chili heat! Watch friends square off in a fiery stuffed-jalapeño popper contest.
