Scientists diving in the Aegean Sea off Turkey filmed the encounter, the first time mating behavior of cuttlefish has been recorded outside of a lab. Cuttlefish are relatives of octopuses and squid and are known for their ability to rapidly change skin color. The scientists were surprised by the intensity of the battle.
