Crack House Christmas

Uncle Al and Jack discuss their favorite Holiday Movies on the Trailer Hitch Holiday Special. Uncle Al presents Jack with his super-secret X-mas-flick list, including The French Connection, with Gene Hackman’s Popeye Doyle in a Santa suit taking down a knife-wielding junkie; Destination Tokyo with Cary Grant torpedoing Japanese battleships while bleakly celebrating the holidays in hostile waters; and Billy Wilder’s Stalag 17 with William Holden and a ragged band of POWs decorating their stolen tree with GI dog-tags while waiting out Word War 2 in a grim Nazi POW camp. Meanwhile, Jack holds up Abel Ferrara’s original Bad Lieutenant, with Harvey Keitel, as the ultimate Christmas movie — reminding Uncle Al how corrupt, crack-addicted, bi-sexual 3-way-having cop Keitel ultimately forgives two ruthless thugs who’ve brutally raped a nun! When Al reminds Jack that even the Nazis celebrated Christmas, jack muses whether there are any home movies of Hitler and Eva Braun having eggnog. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
