Sony and Microsoft have been going at it for years in the console wars, but are the two companies finally teaming up? The Sony Playstation launched into the console wars against Sega and Nintendo, but things quickly changed with the release of the Xbox. And now the Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 are set for release with both consoles looking to dominate the gaming world.

While we will still have digital downloads and game disc releases, the consoles will also have a huge emphasis on cloud gaming. It’s hard to predict now, but there are multiple ways Xbox and Playstation could team up in the future and one of them is through cloud gaming. But what does this all mean? Are we getting a Sony PS-Box 5X or a Microsoft X-Station X Pro?! Not quite. Cloud gaming offers the ability to play online, access games through any device, and enjoy some exclusive favorites. One of the main questions that remains is will cloud gaming resort to the end of exclusive titles. Could Sony use the xCloud server to deliver Uncharted to Microsoft? Will both companies team up to try and take down competitors like Google and Amazon?
