Filmed in the Bukit Lawang jungle, the orangutan grabs the woman’s hand and holds on for close to five minutes. The orangutan seems comfortable with human interaction, indicating it was likely captive before being released into the wild. Most attempts at bribery with fruit are unsuccessful, but eventually the orangutan lets go and the woman is freed.
