They had nine successful deployments, which captured what is likely the first videos ever of a saltwater crocodile attack from the inside of its mouth.

إختراعات كانت الحرب العالمية الاولى السبب فيها

أكياس الشاى tea bags
من الابتكارات التي رأت النور بمصادفة أثناء الحرب العالمية الأولى ففى عام 1908 عندما كان أحد تُجّار الشاي الأمريكيين يبيعُ الشاي في أكياس صغيرة حيث تم وضع أحد هذه الأكياس في الماء وأصبحت منذ ذلك الوقت أكثر من مجرد وسيلة لتوصيل الشاي. فيما بعد شركة ألمانية قامت باستغلال الفكرة وقامت ببيع الشاي في أكياس صغيرة وأطلقت عليها ( قنابل الشاي )

المعدن المقاوم للصدأ – ستانليس ستيل
كانت الأجزاء المعدنية للبندقية تتعرض للتشوّه والإنحناءات بعد إطلاق النار بسبب الاحتكاك والحرارة الناتجة عن الرصاص لذلك طلب من مهندس المعادن البارع Harry Brearley ان يجد حلاً لهذه المشكلة. وبدأ هاري تجاربه لإيجاد خليط معدني أفضل بإضافة الكروم إلى الفولاذ ولكن سرعان ما تخلى عن هذه الفكرة وألقى ما توصل إليه في فناء معملة وبدأ في البحث عن فكرة أخرى، ولكن بعد فتره اكتشف هاري أن تلك المعادن التي تركها في فناءه لم تتعرض للصدأ ومن هنا كانت نشأة هذا المعدن الثمين

يعد السحّاب أحد أهم وأشهر الإختراعات التي لا يمكننا الإستغناء عنها وتكاد ملابسنا لا تخلو منه وقدأخترعه مهاجر أمريكي من أصل سويدي أسمه Gideon Sundback بهدف إستخدامه من قبل الجيش الأمريكي في ملابس الجنود وأحذيتهم في الحرب العالمية الأولى ثم أصبح متاحاً للاستخدام المدني بعد الحرب

ساعة اليد
مع دخول وقت الحرب أصبح للوقت قيمة وأصبحت الدقائق والثواني ذات تأثير لا يمكن إهماله خاصة لدى جنود المدفعية والمشاة حيث تبدأ هجماتهم بالتزامن فيما بينهم لكي لا يُصيب أحدهم الآخر ولتحقيق هذا التزامن لم يكن أمامهم سِوى لغة الإشارة ولكن عندما تُصبح المسافات كبيرة لا يمكن استخدامها
لذا دعت الحاجة لإستخدام الساعات من أجل تحقيق التزامن وفي نفس الوقت الحفاظ على حرية اليدين ومن هنا ظهر ابتكار ساعات اليد والتى أنتشرت بصورة كبيرة بعد الحرب

5- المصباح الشمسى sun lamp
بسبب قلة التغذية الناتجة عن نقص المؤن الغذائية بسبب الحرب في ألمانيا أُصيب نصف أطفال برلين تقريباً بمرض كساح الأطفال الناتج عن نقص فيتامين د والكالسيوم والفوسفات و يتسبب هذا المرض في تكّلس العظام فتظهر مشوهة ومقوسة
لاحظ الدكتور الألماني Kurt Huldschinskyذلك وقرر البحث عن علاج لهذا المرض وبدأ تجاربه بوضع أربع مرضى أمام مصابيح الزئبق واكسيد السيليكون والتي تُطلق أشعة فوق بنفسجية واكتشف أن العظام تُصبح أقوى بعد التعرض لذلك الضوء
