Camera trap footage from Ujung Kulon National Park in Indonesia provides some good news for the critically endangered Javan rhinoceros. Though 57 of these rhinos had been known to live in the park, recent sightings of three calves, such as the one shown in this video, bring that number up to 60. Ujung Kulon National Park is the only protected area where the Javan rhino survives in the wild. The rhino remains in danger from poaching and natural disasters such as tsunamis and a nearby volcano that threatens the park.

مشاهد غريبة لا يمكن ان تراها الا فى الهند
قذف الاطفال
هناك عادة غريبة لدى الهنود فلكى يجلبوا الصحة والحظ السعيد لاطفالهم يقوموا بأعطاء اطفالهم لرجال الدين فى شهر ديسمبر لكى يقوموا بقذفهم من أعلى قمة المعبد على أرتفاع 200 قدم بينما ينتظر حشد من الناس فى الاسفل ومعهم ملابس الطفل حتى يقوموا بإلتقاطة ويبدأ الإحتفال بالطفل
محطات القطار الهندية
القطار يعد من اهم وسائل الموصلات فى الهند وهذا يعنى ان الجميع يستخدم القطار فبينما يتسارع الناس لدخول القطار والحصول على مقعد فى أماكن كثيره حول العالم يتسارع الهنود لاعتلاء سطح القطار والحصول حتى على مساحة صغيرة للاتكاء عليها ويتدافعون للتعلق حتى بنوافذ القطار
فمحطات القطارات الهندية من أكثر الأماكن إزدحاماً فى العالم
الأفاعى
من الظواهر الغريبة والمرعبة أيضاً في الهند هي كثرة انتشار الأفاعى؛ حيث يوجد في هذا البلد ما يقارب 3120 نوع منها، وأخبث هذه الأنواع توجد في منطقة “تاكا”، فإذا هبت رياح شديدة هناك تهجر الأفاعى مناطقها وتنتشر فى المناطق المؤهوله بالسكان
لذلك يهجرها أهلها بضعة أيام إذا هبت الريح، ثم يعودون إليها بعد ذلك
عدم غلق الأبواب
سكان مدينة MAHARASHTRA الهندية لا يغلقون أبواب مساكنهم ولا نوافذها أبداً بل أنهم لا يستخدمون الابواب من الأساس
فهم يؤمنون أن مقتنياتهم الثمينة وممتلكاتهم يحميها الاله SHANI
الزواج بالحيوانات
من المعروف عن الهنود حبهم وتقديسهم للحيونات ويرجع ذلك لإنتشار معتقد تناسخ الأرواح هناك .. حيث تعود روح الأنسان إلى العالم بعد الموت ولكن فى جسد حيوان ما
وحدث أن تزوج الهنود بالحيوانات كنوع من التقرب للإلهه أو التكفير عن الخطايا
فثملاً الهندىSELVAKUMAR تزوج من كلب كتكفير عن خطاياه وللتخلص من لعنة تطارده لأنه قذف كلبين بالحجاره وهو طفل
كما تشتهر الهند بالزواج من الضفادع ويقوم به الكهنة لوقف الجفاف وجلب المطر
مهر الرجل
تختلف طقوس الزواج لدى الهنود حسب العادات والتقاليد والأعراف والديانات والفكر والطبقات إلا أنهم يجتمعون على شيء واحد وهو أن المرأة تدفع المهر لعريسها في شكل نقد ومجوهرات وأغراض منزلية .
والمهور الغالية، أصبحت الثمن الذي يدفعه والدا العروس للحصول على زوج جيد في الهند
وتسبب العادة الإجتماعية الغريبة مشكلة كبيرة بالهند حيث زادت معدلات إنتحار الفتيات الاتى لا يمكنهن الزواج لعدم أمتلاك المال
مما دفع الحكومة الهندية لخوض معرفة مجتمعية لمواجهة الظاهرة الخطيرة فتم حظر دفع المرأة للمهور قانوناً فى عام 1961 ولكنه حتى الأن مازال مألوفا بل ربما يكون في تزايد
