10 Secret Things Your Xbox Series X and S Can Do

Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Sub_to_TheGamer

The Xbox Series X and S have been out for a few months now and people still can’t get their hands on the console. It’s not as hard to find as the PS5 is, but it’s still quite difficult to purchase. If you’re one of the lucky few who beat us all and actually has the console set up in the house, congratulations. I totally wish I was you! Since the console is still super fresh, there’s a lot its users don’t even know it could do.

For starters, with selective installation, you could choose what you want to download from each game. If you only want the multiplayer, you could do just that. You could remap the buttons of your controller to anything you want. If someone in your chat is too loud or too quiet, you can adjust their volume. Games could be pre-loaded, even if you haven’t bought them, to lessen download times. If you have the Xbox app, screenshots taken in-game can be sent right to your smartphone and you could also use it as a second screen to stream games. You can even stream to Twitch in 4k quality at 60 FPS.

There’s more hidden features in your Xbox Series X and S than just that so enjoy the video, let me know what you think is the best lesser-known feature in these next gen consoles in the comments section below and don’t forget to subscribe to TheGamer for more Xbox Series X and S news.

Should You Buy An Atari VCS

Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Sub_to_TheGamer

When it comes to the epic Console Wars, there’s no room for failure. Every gaming company is trying to push their way into a crowded field in order to stand out and present products that gamers actually want to pay for. It’s not easy. The new Playstation 5, the Xbox Series X and the Nintendo Switch all dominate the marketplace. So with consoles like that on the market, what does Atari hope to do with their new Atari VCS console?

Well, a lot actually! The long-delayed new console from one of the original pioneers of console gaming is finally on track to release in Spring of 2021 after a series of huge setbacks and delays. Now the question on everyone’s mind is whether taking the chance and buying one of these new consoles is actually worth it in the long run.

Because on the surface the new console looks like it does come with some cool features that both embrace the nostalgia of their Atari 2600, while also pushing things forward to the modern age. Yes you’ll be able to access all the classic Atari games when you purchase it, but you can play them with either a redesigned classic wireless joystick, or a more updated handheld controller. The console also presents a unique element that can basically turn your Atari VCS into a mini-computer complete with its own Operating System. All those features at least make us interested, but at the end of the day, does it’s hefty price tag discourage gamers from actually buying it?

Check out today’s video all about the Atari VCS. When you’re done, be sure to hit that big like and subscribe button for more awesome TheGamer content like this. So what are you waiting for! Go watch the video so I can go play Frogger online…

Din Djarin Reacts to The Mandalorian Season 2
Hot off the most popular show of the year, “The Mandalorian” star Din Djarin is feeling sky high about his future prospects at Disney. However, with a few more mouths to feed due to the introduction of other Star Wars characters with upcoming Disney+ shows, like Ahsoka Tano and Boba Fett, ol’ Mando might be a little lower on the pecking order than he thought. Heck, he’s not even the most popular character in his own show! I’m looking at you Grogu (cough: Baby Yoda). PLUS, after two season’s worth of build-up to his emotional parting with his little green companion, he was up-staged by CG Luke Skywalker. So, maybe it’s about time the Mandalorian faced the music about where he really stands at Disney…

Which Console Brought Us The Most Innovation? (Nintendo, Sega, Xbox)

Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Sub_to_TheGamer

Which Console actually brought us the most innovation? Every console claims to be the future at launch, and now that we are at a certain point in the future with respect to the 2010s, the 2000s, and the 90s, 80s, and 70s, we are going to ask and answer the question: who was right?

Well, in a way, they all did. You can’t have the successes without the failures, but because we are bound by the construct of time, our video must be eight minutes and not eight hours like some Ken Burns documentary. In that time we will talk about seven consoles that brought us the furthest into the gaming future we’ve come to know thanks to the risks they took, and the tech they created which we now kind of take for granted. From the first ever home console to the first ever console with interchangeable games to online gaming and beyond, we here at The Gamer often sit on rocks like The Thinker and wonder what brought us here and why.

We also feel obliged to teach you, and ourselves, the history of video games, so that…we don’t repeat it we guess? Just kidding! But in all seriousness, it’s to know where we came from so we can have an idea where we’re going. Because if history has taught us something, it’s that it repeats itself, over and over, until the end of time, for no reason.

How Much You Can Feel In A VR Suit

Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Sub_to_TheGamer

The fact that Virtual Reality even exists is quite an achievement. Growing up, I’m sure you must’ve wished you were actually a part of the video games you played and, for the past decade or so, that’s exactly what we’ve been able to do. It seemed like nothing but a pipe dream 20 years ago, but we’re at the point where VR is relatively mainstream. Everyone knows what VR is, but despite that, it’s still considered an up and coming sector.

Interest in VR is higher than it’s ever been because people are bored and at home with a lot of time on their hands, but the problem is that the industry has been static. There’s nothing really interesting being released, but there’s a whole lot going on behind the scenes, especially at Teslasuit headquarter. No affiliation to Tesla, Teslasuit is a company focused on VR tech and their full-body Teslasuit and Teslasuit gloves are some of the most interesting tech I’ve seen in a while. This suit doesn’t just simply give you haptic feedback, it actually electro-stimulates you so you could feel what’s going on in game, and even feel pain. The glove is designed to allow you to feel virtual objects, which is actually nuts.

There’s more to all this VR tech than just that so enjoy the video, let me know if you think the Teslasuit is the future of VR gaming in the comments section below and don’t forget to subscribe to TheGamer for more gaming tech content.
