Farideh’s Marinara-less Meatball Sub

Ditch the standard red sauce and make Farideh’s herbaceous and cheesy meatball sandwich. Farideh’s take on the classic meatball hero involves ground pork and beef meatballs made in the broiler, three kinds of cheeses, and a green dressing made with pistachios, basil, parsley, and lemon juice and zest. The result is a mean, green, meatball machine.

This LA Shop Keeps Dishing Out Hand-Pulled Noodles

Bang Bang Noodles is a mega-popular hand-pulled noodle stand in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, where customers would often line up for hours for his Xi’an Chinese influenced noodles. Chef and owner Robert Lee had to shift gears amid Coronavirus, and transitioned to a pop-up noodle shop with a skeleton crew. He takes MUNCHIES through a day making noodles under his current operation, and speaks about keeping his business afloat and serving the people of his community in uncertain times.

How to Make Copycat Starbucks Lemon Bread #WithMe | At Home Recipes | Allrecipes.com

Ingredients:
Cake:
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (4.3 ounce) package non-instant lemon pudding mix
½ cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs
8 ounces sour cream
½ cup milk
6 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
Icing:
2 ½ cups confectioners’ sugar
3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice, or more to taste

Directions:
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 2 loaf pans.

Step 2
Combine cake mix, pudding mix, oil, eggs, sour cream, milk, and 6 tablespoons lemon juice into bowl of stand mixer; beat for 2 minutes and pour into prepared loaf pans.

Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 50 minutes. Cool in the pans for 20 minutes before removing from pans to cool completely on a wire rack.

Step 4
Whisk confectioners’ sugar and 3 tablespoons lemon juice together in a bowl until smooth; spoon evenly over the loaves and let set before slicing, about 30 minutes.

Strawberry Shortcake Cobbler – The Cooking Show

Farideh is in her home kitchen making her favorite nostalgic summer dessert: a strawberry shortcake cobbler. Farideh macerates fresh strawberries in sugar then constructs a simple cobbler with buttermilk biscuit dough and granulated sugar for a sweet crunchy texture. She bakes the cobbler until bubbly and serves it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a dollop of Cool Whip.
