The Evolution Of NBA2k21

NBA 2K21 is here and with it comes the next installment of the super successful 2K franchise. Given the 2K series is usually always the best selling sports game of the year, it shouldn’t be a surprise to know that anticipation for 2K21 has been high. But have you ever stopped to wonder just how this franchise got to be where it is today? Where did everything start and how did it become such a powerhouse in the gaming world?

The original game, NBA 2K, was released only for the Sega Dreamcast back in 1999 and since then, every year has seen a new installment and new upgrades that continue to try to give sports gamers the best experience possible while playing a basketball video game. And it’s had an amazing history. Just look back at things like NBA 2K10 adding the MyPlayer mode which would completely reinvent everything about the game, or fun editions like 2K11 which included the Jordan Challenge mode which allowed you to try to mimic some of Michael Jordan’s most memorable accomplishments. It’s versions and modes like these that really helped solidify the 2K series as the most popular sports game franchise ever.

And it just keeps getting more popular. NBA 2K20 was the second highest grossing video game last year, proving the desire for a yearly basketball game is at an all-time high. And with some cool tweaks and special added features, including a special edition honoring Kobe Bryant called the Mamba Forever edition, it looks like 2K21 will be another massive hit.

So check out our video detailing the complete history and evolution of the 2K franchise, which includes a breakdown about what to expect from 2K21. After you’re done, leave a comment telling us your favorite version of the game and while you’re there, hit that subscribe button for more awesome content from TheGamer. Thanks for watching! After 35 Years of Nintendo Mario Is Still On Top

Super Mario is turning 35 and he’s never looked better! The greatest gaming icon has had a wild history over the years and Nintendo is intending to celebrate it right. They are rolling out a slew of re-releases, new hardware, and crazy new games. Nintendo’s 35th anniversary direct revealed that this might be Mario’s biggest year yet. Now that he is crossing another milestone, let’s look back at the wonderful history our favorite plumber has had.

We’ll look all the way back to Mario’s original days with a different name and a different primary antagonist. Then we’ll take you through the arcade wars to the revolutionary home console transition. Mario was an icon for some of Nintendo’s earliest consoles but his leap the 3-D made him a true legend.

From there, we’ll take you through Mario’s history across the Gamecube, Wii, Wii-U, and Switch. Mario not only entertained us with main series platformers but he also let us in on his extracurricular activities. He invited us along to play sports, to race in cool race karts and to put the hurt on other gaming mascots.

Of course just because Mario has had a great lifetime that doesn’t mean that his best days are behind him. Nintendo has been leaping into the mobile, augmented reality and VR projects. This makes us wonder, how will Mario change the gaming next?

So let’s jump right in! Here’s a brief look at Mario’s long history and the greatest birthday party Nintendo has ever thrown.

Xbox Series X and Series S Release Date Confirmed

Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Sub_to_TheGamer

XBox broke the internet when it announced the Series S is coming and will be priced at $299 USD. This is the first official price released in the console war and is as low as a player could hope for. This is mighty pleasing to budget gamers as well as space savers, as the mini-machine is 60% smaller than the Series X. In going with many leakers, it’s looking like November 10th is the morning to wait outside your local retailer, and that both the Series X and Series S will come out the same day. This means that they could be the first next gen machines we’ll be able to play Cyberpunk 2077, Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War and Assassins Creed Valhalla on (besides on PC, of course).

It’s exciting to finally see a big development in the console wars, and although XBox will release more on this shortly, we will be looking over what we know in terms of specs for the little speaker looking console and how they compare to its big brother. We know it can’t be more powerful by design, but if it is comparable, Sony’s next generation of consoles could be in trouble. It’s tough to beat good quality at a low price, and although they are the favourite, favourites often lose. Remember the Sega Genesis?

We’ll look at what we know about its Solid State Drive, resolution capabilities, and other features to paint you an accurate picture of how the Series S compares to the Series X, and how it may tilt the console war in Microsoft’s favour.

PlayStation: PS5 VS. PC

Video Description (221 words): The PlayStation is more PC than any PlayStation in history before it, and it’s also closer in power to PCs of its time than any other PlayStation in history before it. So, this begs the long-asked question: Is the PS5 better than a PC? It’s an even more complicated question when you consider, for the first time, Microsoft has en masse released their once-exclusive games on both Xbox and PC, so the PC is, ironically, often the best way to play Xbox games. Not to mention how Sony, too, has begun to release once-exclusive games on PC. For Xbox this means that an Xbox Series X isn’t a serious competitor to the PC, so for many gamers the choice is between a PS5 and the move to PC.

Today, we’re here to cut through the confusion and definitively answer the questions that have been plaguing fanboys for months and let you know what you need to know about the differences between a PC and a PS5. We’re going to talk about specs, games, upgrades, Xbox, and the future, so pop some popcorn and get ready for the flame wars in the comments!
