Shuri has been touted as Marvel’s smartest character, beating out even the genius Tony Stark, Reed Richards, and Bruce Banner. Does The Hulk, Iron Man, and Mister Fantastic have anything on Shuri? Well, we’re about to dive into that theory to find out. “Black Panther” brought T’Challa’s brave and brilliant sister, Shuri to life through actress Letitia Wright. She is the science geek, funny character that wields vibranium better than anyone, and runs her lab out of Mount Bashenga. Director Ryan Coogler and producer Nate Moore, worked hard to form the unique character to play opposite Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Danai Gurira, and Martin Freeman. The theory is that Shuri may be the true hero of the film and the most brilliant MCU character.
Could it be her ability to create innovative new technology to cure Everett Ross and Bucky Barnes? Or the crazy sound-proof sneakers for her brother? Maybe it was that she basically built the foundation of Wakanda with her ability to use vibranium? In “Black Panther” this woman takes the world by storm, healing bullet wounds in a few days and thinking ahead as to not let her technology land in the wrong hands of say, Killmonger? Maybe it’s the fact that so far she hasn’t accidentally created Ultron or smashed one of her creations into her lab? Not to mention that she is leading the way after the Oakland real estate is given to the United Nations for development of her ideas.
