Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War is set to be the biggest movie of 2018 by far – and one of the main reasons for that being the case is its main villain. The alien warlord Thanos – played by the brilliant Josh Brolin – will terrorise the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the power of the Infinity Gauntlet (and Infinity Stones) and it’s going to be absolutely AWESOME! The Mad Titan has got a lot of people talking, which brings us to the subject of this video, which is about some theories people have come up with about the purple-faced warlord. We guarantee they’ll get you even more excited for his iconic showdown with the MCU’s heroes. The theories in question are; that he will kill Surtur (the Fire Demon last seen in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok) to get the Eternal Flame, that he will destroy Xandar (the planet last seen in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy) to get the Orb, that he will mind-control the Hulk and turn him into his henchman, that he will be trying to impress Cate Blanchett’s Hela (instead of Mistress Death like in the comic books), that he will have far more allies than we’ve been led to believe, that he needs the Infinity Gauntlet itself to control the Infinity Stones (unlike many other characters, such as Ronan or Malekith), that he will turn out to be a Skrull (and the real Thanos will turn up in Avengers 4), that he will survive and return in Avengers 4, that he will resurrect a number of dead characters (Quicksilver and numerous villains, for example), and that he will actually turn out to be an evolved Red Skull.
