Australia Bushfires: Wildlife clings to life

Scientists in Australia estimate one billion animals have been killed by the deadly bushfires, which show no sign of burning out.

The disaster is set to get worse with dangerous conditions forecast for the next few days.

One of the hardest hit areas is Kangaroo Island in South Australia, where it is thought that around half the koala population of the island has been killed by the fires.

Sky News’ Alex Crawford is on the ground, where scorching temperatures and fierce winds threaten more creatures.
