All Of Us Are Dead: Behind The Scenes Secrets

We’re not done with zombies yet. The revival of the classic movie monster is going strong, like a horde of unstoppable zombies in fact with another hit zombie drama this time coming out of Korea. Hot on the heels of the runaway success of the surrealistic Squid Game audiences have been watching the adventures of private school students as they fight off the zombie hordes without any adult supervision. Romances are romanced, rivalries are rivaled, undead people eat soon to be dead people, scientists stare at data wondering if they can do anything about it all, and of course buckets and buckets of bloody gore. The survival drama that’s running justifying your Netflix subscription sustains the stress of running and waiting for rescue and having rescue denied for 12 pulse pounding episodes. What does it take to keep the tension high as well as have all the human adolescent drama that goes with being a teenager even when your former classmates want to put you on the menu? The series based on a webtoon has been carefully guided by its director Lee J. Q. who has had some specific ideas about how to maintain the realism in a situation that is inherently unrealistic…we hope. From casting actors so new that they haven’t quit their day jobs yet to filming a massive set piece with dozens of actors in one take a lot of thought went into this latest addition of the undead genre.
