For years, the MCU’s schedule has pretty much been an open book for fans. We know movie release dates years ahead of time and can look forward to films like Avengers: Infinity War long before Avengers: Age of Ultron was even released. Now all of a sudden, Marvel is holding back a little and plans on filming a movie in 2019. What could this mystery movie be?!
All signs are pointing to the Black Widow solo film and Marvel plans on injecting a lot of female empowerment in their movies over the next few years with the release of Captain Marvel. The filming location could help give some clues although Marvel travels all around to set up different filming options. Breaking down the details, there are a couple of other possibilities and learning them all can get fan excited for what the Phase 4 of the MCU has to offer. While Spider-Man: Far from Home hits theaters, more Marvel movie magic will be made on the set of a new movie. Some signs even point to Doctor Strange 2. Doctor Strange was a big part of the Avengers: Infinity War and fans will really look forward to seeing him in another solo outing. Marvel may decide to skip out on the sequels all together and make an original film as well. Whatever they chose to make could lay the groundwork for the future of the MCU.
