“The Avengers: Infinity War” was a major gut punch to the system, shocking audiences far and wide with the final battle. The film brought together some of Marvel’s biggest superheroes, such as Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Hulk, and Thor. It was a blast seeing all our favorites together on screen fighting off the Infinity Gauntlet baring Thanos. The Russo Brothers did a superb job bringing all these MCU films together in one epic movie that, it seems, everything has been building towards. They even introduced a new DC Comics hero to the picture, Peter Parker, better known as Spider-Man and played by the talented Tom Holland
By combining these major heroes, including all “The Guardians of the Galaxy” misfits, such as Rocket, Groot, Gamora, Mantis, Star-Lord, Nebula, and Drax, it gives the MCU a cohesive feel. However, with eighteen films combined, there is bound to be some serious problems. They did, however, do an incredible job keeping the timeline succinct, but there are a few issues that may arise after the events of “Infinity War”.
Could Star-Lord, played by Chris Pratt, suffer major grief over Gamora, played by Zoe Saldana, and cause his group of misfits trouble? Will Shuri take over the throne and be named Black Panther, only to face T’Challa in a future Ryan Coogler film? Is the chaos caused by Thanos’ win too great for the Universe to recover? And will all the Netflix Marvel TV shows address these events? Will “Jessica Jones,” “Daredevil,” “Luke Cage,” and “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” suffer the consequences seeing as they are in the same Universe as all these other guys? Will Captain Marvel play a pivotal role in solving these issues?
