We love the Assassin’s Creed games and, when we saw the trailer for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, we were stoked. It looked so awesome and we just couldn’t wait to play it. However, we couldn’t help but think there were certain things it reminded us of and, today, we’re going to tell you about them.
When it comes to games in Ancient Greece, we loved the original God Of War franchise, so we’ll be telling you about that. We’re also going to go back to the 80’s to tell you all about Battle of Olympus and how Kid Icarus isn’t the influence you might think. We’ll also look at the similarities between Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag and Far Cry 4, since they’re both made by Ubisoft, as well as how Assassin’s Creed III may have been much like this new one. You’ll also hear about Witcher 3, Prince of Persia and how we think Nintendo’s Mario is a key influence.
