Growing up, I always liked SpongeBob Squarepants. However, I always felt that there were parts of the show that were a bit, off. And I’m not just talking about the fact that it’s a show about a talking sea sponge, who actually looks like a kitchen sponge, which is not how those creatures look in reality. No, there was always something seemingly sitting beneath the surface level, something ominous.
