For those of us who have been around for a couple decades or more, we’ve seen our fair share of video games through the years. The landscape of gaming is constantly changing and evolving, leaving old trends in the past and creating new ones along the way. As we grow up, we start to realize how many things we miss about classic gaming and how many things we’re happy are still in the past. Time to break open the gaming vault to explore gaming habits and features we miss or don’t miss from the world of gaming.

Early players remember the days of blowing into cartridges to get a game to work. What you don’t remember is that it may have actually led to corrupted game files. Nothing was better than having a pocket full of game tokens and heading to the local arcade. Of course, we don’t miss all the times tokens would jam or machines would be completely out of order. Games may have had simple graphics in the past, but the instant load times made a huge difference while playing. Watch to see all these elements and several other habits we miss or don’t miss about video games.
