3 Reasons Gaming Should Be In The Olympics (And A Few Why It Shouldn’t)

IS COMPETITIVE GAMING A SPORT? Should it be a part of the Olympics? Let’s talk about it.

The Olympics are a time-honored tradition where athletes from around the globe compete for bronze, silver, and gold. But creeping up into the foreground is a sport that doesn’t have to wait 4 years to compete internationally. With E-Sports, the competition is high and intense for people all across the world. They play against each other via the internet every single day, and they have more than out in their dues. So why are they not allowed to compete for the Gold? Why should players of DOTA 2, Rocket League, Tekken, CSGO, Starcraft, League of Legends, Super Smash Brothers, and tons more suffer? Are they not athletes to? That’s up to YOU to decide.

At The Gamer, we like to ask the tough questions! So, what do you think, Should Gaming (E-Sports) Be An Official Olympic Sport?

WHAT DO YOU THINK: Should E-Sports be included in the competition? Or should they have their own separate international Olympics? Or not have them at all? Let us know in the comments section below!
