Ah, Lois and Peter Griffin. One of our favourite TV couples who we just can’t quite understand why exactly they are actually still together. They seem to love each other, but actually, they really don’t! And we’d say they’re together for their children, but more often than not they torture their kids more than they do each other! While we may not quite get it, whatever their reasons, they show no signs of splitting up any time soon. From the discrepancies in their physical appearance, to the fact that Lois comes from a ton of money, and also the many, many times that Lois has cheated on Peter! Did Peter marry Lois for her money, and did Lois actually marry Peter to get back at her dad? It’s crazy that Lois gets no help from her rich family to keep her household going, when Peter seems to have a ton of trouble paying for something as simple as a big wheel for Stewie! Brian is openly in love with Lois, and yet somehow still lives with the family, and even though Quagmire won’t leave her alone, Peter is still one of his best friends. And Peter might not even be Meg’s real dad, to say nothing of the bunch of kids that Peter and Lois have had who have apparently died! And both of those guys have even married her at one time or another! From their messed up attempts at marriage counselling, to their shared disturbing sense of humour, and everything in between, these two are determined to stay together, even if none of us can figure out why!
