You love Will Smith, I love Will Smith, your mom definitely loves Will Smith. And why shouldn’t we? Since bursting on the scene as rapper The Fresh Prince in the 1980’s, Smith quickly became one of the favorite faces in Hollywood. He would parlay that rap career into a hit TV sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and from there, his future was set. Some wonder if Will has lost a bit of that earlier spark, but we’re here to say that The Fresh Prince is as fresh as ever.
Will has broken the box office time and time again, by challenging himself to take on difficult roles while staying real and humble, and always remembering what his grandmother taught him. He is never satisfied, and always pushes to be the best version of himself. He joined social media in 2017 and has quickly become one of the best presences on the internet. He started a Youtube channel, quickly gaining nearly 2 million followers who love to tune in and catch a glimpse of Will through his own eyes. He tells an amazing story of when he met Michael Jackson, and is planning to bungee jump out of a helicopter for his 50th birthday. He inspires his followers to work as hard as he has to achieve their goals, and live streams with an astronaut on the International Space Station. Will recently narrated a National Geographic series about the planet, produced by Darren Aronofsky, and has refused to let his past failures bring him down. He is the adoring husband of Jada Pinkett Smith and father to Trey, Jaden, and Willow, and is determined to help his family live their best lives. He and Jada interviewed Barack Obama in 2009, and reportedly paid the late, great Prince a whopping sum to play at Jada’s birthday party.
Will has been, and will always be The Fresh Prince, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
