Since the reboot of the DC Universe with the New 52, the Justice League started the superhero age within the new world. They were the first to band together and defeat Darkseid. Something that the universe has never seen in its past. Now they are caught in the cross fires of a new Darkseid war, but this time they are also fighting against a power that is even greater than him. One of the greatest comic book writers of the modern age, Geoff Johns, spearheads this title with the incredible artist Jason Fabok. This is a review on the first part of this saga that collects issues #40-44 of volume 7 of the Justice League comic book.
