أنجز الفريق الشبابي لمشروع “كويتي وأفتخر” قرية رملية رائعة بإشراف فريق عالمي من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وسيتم افتتاحها رسمياً قريباً للجمهور برعاية أمير الكويت الشيخ صباح الأحمد الصباح. تبلغ مساحة 30 ألف متر مربع استخدم بها فيها 35 ألف طن من الرمل، وشارك في تصميمها 73 نحاتاً دولياً وعالمياً من 20 دولة حول العالم، وحرصت الجهة المنظمة للقرية أن يكون الافتتاح عبر تجسيد لرواية ألف ليلة وليلة عبر قصص ومجسمات رملية، بالإضافة إلى مسرح هو الأول من نوعه في قصة “علاء الدين والمصباح السحري”، ناهيك عن مطاعم ومقاهي فريدة من نوعها كذلك قلعة متعددة الطوابق. وأشار ضاري الوزان أن القرية الرملية تعدّ الأكبر من نوعها في العالم، معرباً عن شكره وتقدير لأمير البلاد الشيخ صباح الأحمد على رعايته الكريمة والسامية لمهرجان رمال الدولي وافتتاح القرية الرملية.
