Pixar Animation Studios movies are totally suitable for kids, right?! As a parent, you’d be completely happy letting your child watch any Pixar movie, wouldn’t you?

Well, that’s certainly meant to be true – they are essentially Disney movies, after all, and Disney has been synonymous with the entertainment of children for a number of decades – but some of the scenes in those Pixar movies are undoubtedly way too dark and disturbing for young eyes!

In this video, we’ll run you through just some of the prime examples of that! Seriously, some of these are enough to bring tears to the eyes of hardened adults, let alone youngsters!

The movies these theories come from are; Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up, Toy Story 3, Cars 2, Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur, Finding Dory, and Coco. Coco is one of Pixar’s more recent films and dealing with an underworld of past relatives is bound to have some dark moments and the movie is actually filled with them. Many of these moments can turn out to be quite sad!

The theories involve death, torture, bereavement, loneliness, and all kinds of other dark aspects of real life! Seriously, how are children meant to watch these movies and not be permanently emotionally scarred?!
