Every once in a while, we hear about some poor soul who completely lost themselves in their favourite video game. They may now live in solitude, forget to shower and solely eat junk food so they don’t have to get up off their butt and leave the comfy confines of their virtual world. We hear about them and we can’t help but shake our heads. Sure, it may be tough to pass that high school math class or maybe you’re not being appreciated by your boss, but that’s no reason to become a hermit. We can’t help but wonder why they don’t go out into the world to have real experiences? Why don’t they try to find actual happiness in this beautiful world we have?
What if they’re the ones who have it all figured out? Maybe you’ve noticed, but the real world isn’t exactly the happiest place. Let’s be honest, our world is full of issues and riddled with flaws if you think about it. In fact, there are a lot of ways video games provide a more satisfying experience than real life does.
In video games, all of your problems have a solution and you are the most important person. You definitely can’t say the same thing about real life. You can fast travel from one location to another in a video game, but you have to deal with a long boring commute in real life. We don’t want to spoil the whole video for you so, without further ado, here are 10 ways gaming is better than real life.
