We’re sure many of you have been mashing the buttons on your controllers to death thanks to Dragon Ball FighterZ. The game is a frantic, fun and accessible fighting game that truly feels like the anime. But that game, and others before it, are missing some key components.

Namely, they’re missing some of the chief characters from the franchise. Sometimes this is unavoidable, but when characters are integral to the plot, are extremely popular or could have an impact on the plot, it’s curious as to why they’re left out.

For instance, Vegito, the fusion of Vegeta and Goku is absent from FighterZ, despite Gotenks being a playable character. For fans of a challenge, playing as Mr. Satan in that game would have been awesome, considering his limitations.

Other characters are missing from more than just FighterZ. Kefla, the fusion of two Universe 6 Saiyans from Super, is missing in both Xenoverse 2 and FighterZ. Zabron, a minion of Frieza, is missing in FighterZ and Xenoverse 1. Seeing as he’s in Xenoverse 2, his inconsistency is more noticable.

Cabba is another new character from Super’s Universe 6 and was absent in Xenoverse 2 and FighterZ despite characters like Hit being present. Master Roshi, a timeless character from the very beginning, has also been absent from many rosters as of late, despite getting into an epic fight in Super in the Frieza saga.

Rounding it up are Raditz and Whis who are absent from FighterZ. Considering their counterparts play a role in that game, such as Goku, Nappa and Berrus respectively, it’s odd that these characters aren’t on the roster.
