The navigation of media today is a lot better than it used to be. Thanks to things like YouTube, Blu-Rays, and streaming services, it’s so much easier to pause, rewind, and rewatch your favorite movie scenes. For some scenes, it’s about spotting hidden Easter eggs and others it’s about watching your favorite stars on the screen. Each one has moments that had fans talking for a long time.

In the Wolf of Wall Street, Margot Robbie plays a housewife that gets fed up with her husband. By teasing him, she decides to flash her legs, not realizing that a surveillance camera and plenty of pause buttons would be watching at the same time. In Star Wars: A New Hope, millions of dollars went into building sets and creating the massive sci-fi world. That’s why it’s crazy that a Stormtrooper hit his head on one of the doors and the mistake made it into the final cut of the movie. Jurassic World is filled with a lot of small moments, but there is a celebrity cameo that viewers had to pause to see correctly. One of the most famous scenes in the film Basic Instinct involves Sharon Stone doing anything she can during an interrogation. Iron Man was the start of the Marvel extended universe, but the film didn’t give too many hints about the future of other films. There was one small moment that had fans excited for the future that was to come. Back in the 1980s, plenty of VCRs were getting over-used as angsty teens paused the Phoebe Cates nude scene featured in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. One of the most intense scenes in Raiders of the Lost Ark is nearly interrupted by a crazy fly that just happens to disappear out of thin air. The Man of Steel started the DCEU, but fans weren’t sure of it until a special satellite appeared in the sky. Fight Club uses a crazy amount of editing tricks to fool the viewer and reveal the twist ending well before it happens. Star Wars: The Force Awakens helped set off all kinds of rumors, including a small moment that looks like a gravestone. Watch all of these paused moments to see them for yourself!
