Just like all the little pieces found in their many collection, the LEGO movies have always been filled with fun moments and Easter Eggs. It is no different for the release of the third official LEGO movie entitled the LEGO NINJAGO Movie. Featuring the voices of David Franco and Jackie Chan, the film explores a number of huge ninja battles and a father and son looking to reconnect. Along with the main plot, there are a number of great Easter eggs you can enjoy with the film.

While the movie stands alone from The LEGO Movie, Unikitty does make an appearance. She is a key character for the clothes of an NPOP fan who loves Ninjago music and dancing. Jackie Chan’s character in the movie has a memorable fight scene where he loses his pants. Fans of the action star may not realize that this is not the first time this type of move has happened. The students at the high school are filled with a lot of Easter eggs, including a punk skater wearing a t-shirt that represents the band The Pixies. Another cameo appearance in the film is a minifigure representing John Bender from the Breakfast Club. The LEGO pieces in all of the movies are typically built out of actual pieces, but you may notice something strange about the apple piece on the teacher’s desk. Ferris Bueller doesn’t have a day off in this movie as he rides the bus to school with the characters. Batman doesn’t come and save the day in the LEGO Ninjago film, but there is a small nod to the hero in the form of a lab worker. The classic Jurassic Park film also gets a nod in the movie as a key shot is used for a specific scene. The Meowthra character was named off a classic movie monster many younger fans may not be aware of. One of the characters returning from the LEGO Movie is Kebab Bob, a food worker who now must deal with the wrath of Meowthra and invading ninjas.
