When a movie is being edited, it’s important to pay attention to the small details and moments that may ruin a movie. Unfortunately, there are often moments that cannot be replaced in movies or have an alternate scene to use with them. See some of the crazy editing mistakes put into 10 Hollywood blockbusters.
In the Bourne Identity, Jason Bourne is a smart spy, but a little camera trickery fails to fully hide the character when he’s supposed to disappear from the screen. In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry and Malfoy compete in a great Wizard’s duel, but maybe some cinema magic should have been used to make the on-screen cameraman disappear. In Back to the Future 3, the climactic moment showcases Doc arriving back from the past, but one of his children is doing something odd with their hands. One of the most dangerous animals in Jurassic Park is the raptor, but one crew member decides to pet the animal in the moments before it enters the kitchen. The Hurt Locker features a lot of intense scenes and moments, but you may be taken out of the film when Jeremy Renner gets a little aide during a scene. Gladiator is an epic film, but there are numerous editing mistakes revealing production tricks and crew members. Jaws has a lot of great moments that makes the film feel authentic until you see a whole camera crew inside of a boat. The production of Raiders of the Lost Ark did a lot to remain authentic to the times, but there were a few mistakes that revealed when the movie was filmed. In Lord of the Rings, a weapon is extremely important, unless you just let it slide out and go on your way.
