Cartoons have always been an important part of our childhood. And some of the best cartoons have been those that came from one of the legendary studios, Nickelodeon. The studio is known for giving us some of the most entertaining kids programming and of course amazing memories. Nick has been praised for its programming but what if we told you that sometimes, Nick has made headlines for the wrong reasons? You won’t believe what’s on our list.
Did you know that Nickelodeon’s Doug actually transferred over to Disney? And boy did they make changes. Some fans are still peeved over what happened. Like how they totally changed the theme song of the show. Not only was it iconic but it was totally unique. They also ended up changing some of the characters as well.
Also, it goes without saying but change is inevitable. And if you look back at some of Nickelodeon’s older cartoons and content, it is pretty clear how much has changed. One of the more adult kids’ shows on the network was of course Rocko’s Modern Life. In one episode called “Leap Frog”, Mrs. Bighead tries to seduce Rocko, even though she’s married.
