Besides Bowser, one of the main thorns in Mario’s side is Wario. Wario burst on the scene during the 1990’s and brought a lot of competition for Mario through both his platform series and in several of his own games. Despite the clear dislike for each other, there are many secrets Wario and Mario have hidden over the years.
While Mario is always seen as the hero, he’s one of the main reasons Wario is so angry at him in the first place. We have only seen Mario’s point of view when Wario has a lot to reveal. There was one time when the two characters teamed up to actually take on Luigi. Mario has always ignored Wario, but in one game, we see the ways Mario taunts Wario and there is even a Switch game which focuses on this aspect. Watch to see all of these dark secrets and more!
